Great site for visiting Bristol and all it has to offer. It’s a small site with dated facilities but there’s always plenty of hot water. The atmosphere is good with lots of lovely trees and access to Cumberland Basin is through the back gate. The pub next door is always busy but a good place to sit and watch the world go by. It’s a real shame that the site will permanently close soon as the wardens have worked hard to maintain the site. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful to us during our stay and we wish them the best of luck for the future.
Super location next to the docks. Nice walk into town. Good on site facilities with level pitches. Friendly welcome to this well maintained site. Will be greatly missed when it closes.
Totally amazing site. Central to all of Bristol. The two ladies who run the site run an impeccable operation. And they know where to go for food Ales. Great recommendations thanks. Lovely atmosphere, clean and happy. Shame it looks like it is closing down for new development.
Always pick this site when visiting Bristol. So convenient for events in the city. Hope it remains for another year. The pub located at the rear of the site is lovely, and the walk into the city centre only 25 minutes or take the river taxi for a more leisurely way in.
Great little urban site. Quiet. Well located for local attractions. Easy walk into town. Staff friendly and they work hard to keep it clean and tidy. No wonder it’s popular.
