Used for a transfer to and from the airport. Was really quick and easy to book. Reasonable price. Driver turned up on time and i confirmed on returning my Flight details as I had read some reviews I was wary of. The driver then rang when he arrived at the airport and was waiting for us. Really straight forward. Both drivers were lovely. Would use again and will recommend.
Used before was good price often arrived late booked today and left waiting over 1 hour when called told 10 minutes called 10 minutes later and told will be another 20-25 minutes then 1 minute later while still on the phone told it will be another 40-45 minutes for a few £ more better off going elsewhere rather than lied to BE HONEST IF YOU CANT MAKE THE TRIP SAY SO DONT TRY AND HAVE CUSTOMERS WAIT UP TO 2 HOURS. appalling service
Booked and paid £53 to be picked up Manchester Airport to back to Burnley. Pick up 11pm but flight was 1 hour delay then another Hour and half redirect via Athens. Arrived in Manchester after 1.30 and after collecting luggage outside for around 2. Rang and was informed that tried to ring me but no calls on phone at 11pm. This company should have checked before setting off for any delays etc. I was told that if I wanted to be picked up I would have to pay again. I refused and was left stranded at airport at 2.30am. I am 69 and this was no fun and will definitely never use this firm again.
Do not book for appointments! I booked a day in advance for a specific time still booked early to allow 15 minutes lateness and I rang twice asking where the taxi is. After 25 minutes- it still hadn't arrived! I ended up cancelling the taxi because my appointment was missed and the driver said hel be another 10 minutes on top of the 1/2 hour lateness. Poor service with no apologies and lots of rubbish excuses.
It was horrible. Phoned for a taxi from rim bobbin into town at 11.46. Didn't arrive as promised 5 minutes later. Still waiting at 12.25 . . Phoned them and they said 20 minutes. Needless to say , I cancelled the booking and phoned Delta taxies, who arrived less 5 minutes.
Always reliable, punctual, and well priced. Since writing this review, we have used Max Cabs again, and that will be the last time. They got up to the airport OK, but when we rang to say we were through customs, they hadn't even left Burnley, so we waited around in the cold over an hour the message you get kept saying 20 mins, and they wouldn't answer the phone as they knew it was me . Eventually I borrowed someone's phone and rang them, and they said oh we'll send someone. Hence it took an hour. And the driver neither put our luggage in his boot, or got out of the taxi to help us when we got back! First time ever I didn't tip that's a fiver you lost there. Sorry, they are off our list now for that terrible service.
Booked a taxi to get my friend to the bus station, when it was a little late I phoned again to be told that they was on a half hour break and no apology for not turning up. My friend missed her bus that runs once a hour. Will not be using this taxi firm ever again.
If you book a taxi for a set time and they confirm it, that just means they plan on picking you up when they’re next available, the time you set seems to be irrelevant to them and they will not let you know if they’re going to be 40+ minutes late
My partner and her daughter booked a taxi from this firm a day in advance and pre paid at the time They were coming back from a concert in Manchester and the taxi was an hour late. They were dropping off in Burnley town centre for a drink before coming home but due to being an hour late they knew they would miss the last orders so my partner asked to drop her daughter off in Padiham and then to Rosegrove. She spoke with a guy on the switchboard who was apparently very loud and rude and said it would cost £6 more yet the drop off were less distance than dropping off in town . My partner nor I will not be using them again! Useless timekeeping and rudeness to customers will not get the company very far .
Very poor service. On more than one occasion ive booked a a taxi and it's taken that long I've cancelled it.
