Needed a cab quickly. Everywhere else I called, they were either booked up or not answering. Max cabs responded promptly, had the cab over in a few minutes and the driver got me to my destination from an alternate route the main route was completely blocked with traffic really quickly. The service was fast, efficient and very inexpensive.
I have been riding with them for a while and today will be the last time. They are never on time. 15-20 minutes late is the norm. Daily !!!! And no matter if you call an hour or 2 hours earlier, they are always late. Moreover, drivers never know how much to take for a route. Despite the fact that when ordering the driver, the gentleman at the headquarters gave you the exact price. Basically no professionalism, such a comedy drama. New update. We're 40 minutes late today!!
We have used max taxi for the past 12 years, they are the most punctual and least expensive we have found, never failed to turn up and the drivers are helpful to a fault. Have just downloaded the app and 78 years old I didn't find it to difficult to manoeuvre. There is simply no down side to max.
The first driver we had was lovely Alex or Alec I think. He was really friendly and helped put one of the elderly passengers zimmer frames in the boot of the car and got us as close to the door as possible. The driver on the return journey was rude and impatient. He was offhand and did not help the elderly passengers at all and literally as soon as we were out of the car, sped off - he's lucky he didn't knock one off them off their feet.
Requested a cab for a drop off and pick up and both times Max Cabs had sent the drivers on time. Also, had to reroute and Max Cabs were happy to accommodate the change. I have found them to be quite reliable when using their service.
When a taxi came for me a few days ago, it was the cleanest, nicest smelling car I've ever seen. A nice black Audi and a most polite, kind and sweetest driver. He took me home from work to Mill Hill. Never had a taxi experience like it, it was lovely, and if I knew the driver's name, I would post it on here. What a lovely man, and he is genuinely lovely as he bought his wife a VW Golf for her birthday. He didn't talk too much either, just made the journey very pleasant. Whoever you are, Mr Driver, I salute my hat to you, and I hope YOU also get to see this feedback, and you will know who you are, cos who else has bought their wife a VW Golf for their birthday. She's a lucky lady, and it would be a wonderful World if most people were like you. Thank you Mr Driver.
As a very regular customer. They have caused me to miss my flight and didn’t even knock anything of the price. I’m not happy and feel very unappreciated especially as being a regular customer. The first driver drove off and I had to then wait 30 minutes even though the first driver was round the corner, he didn’t even give me chance to get in the taxi before he drove off. Not a happy customer at all!
Absolute joke of a firm. Worst taxi service ever. They are more than happy to keep you waiting in the freezing cold for a taxi you've already paid for. The driver is always "10 minutes away" but they never turn up. The staff in the call centre are rude and can not wait to get you off the phone when you call asking for an update. Avoid these jokers at all costs. Don't waste your time.
The app is amazing, one of the best around, all taxis should have app like that. But drivers driving me crazy, they accepting the job to cancel it after a few minutes! Max cab shouldn't allowed them to cancel jobs, because they CBA driving somewhere. They won't cancel it straight away, they like to stand and wait and then cancel it! Time wasters... You should do something with that because it's 50/50 if they will cancel that job..
Normally use Max cabs. Never again now. Terrible service. You have to pay a £1 just to add your bank card to your wallet, which isn't reimbursed.Why? Booked a taxi last night at 1.10 said theyd be 20 minutes. Kept ringing as didn't show. Rang at 2.00 and he said he'd be there in 20 minutes?! An hour and 10 minutes for a taxi. Why lie and keep telling me the drivers 10 minutes away? Booked an uber and it arrived in 3 minutes. Used them last Friday too. Booked a taxi for 6.45, driver turned up at 6.30 and said he was outside. Said I'd be ready at the time I booked for. He hung up and drove off. Had to book another taxi. Pointless app, terrible service. Seriously don't bother with them unless you want to be late and lied tooService: Limousines
