I popped in yesterday to visit the service department with a small issue which was dealt with in thirty minutes. I had no booking so they didn't know I was visiting and accommodated me brilliantly. As a local business owner I know exactly how important good customer service is and how great staff respond. Well done Martins.

Service reception was quick and friendly even though i was only there for a free adblue top up. Completing the fill took ages though for what should be a very simple task. You can't book for this so take your chance that an technician will be free. I was offered free coffee but it was the pod style machine and not very nice, if I was a customer buying a new car is expect fresh coffee there's days.

The Technician who sorted out my new LED headlights is to be highly commended for investigating the problem in considerable depth and finding a sensible solution. The LED lights on my new Golf were set so low that it was impossible to drive at a reasonable speed on dipped beam. The Technician checked them on the beam setter, which reported that they were correctly adjusted. Not content with this, and after receiving no help from VW Technical, he carried out his own investigation. The Technician took my car home at night to verify my complaint (which he upheld) and then compared my car with others fitted with LEDs, all of which had dipped beams that were set much higher. He then set my lights to match these vehicles. He took the car home again in the dark to check the result. Thanks to his persistence I can now drive at 70mph on dipped beam and without dazzling oncoming drivers. Well done Martins.

As far as getting a car serviced goes this is without a doubt the best garage I have been too. Friendly staff and even washed the car inside and out. You get a little video sent to you about the car check and even biscuits in the cup holder when you pick it up. Brilliant
