Marks & Spencer Windsor

Decent size m&s given that most people probably think of windsor as being a small quaint town dominated by a castle. You can get most typical m&s items here but it's not oxford street, so don't be disappointed if they don't have a particular item or size!

There's a lot missing in this M&S; couldn't find a shop assistant for ages, the shop layout is not particularly appealing and the staff seem to enjoy their chats!

What a pigsty! We called in this week whilst visiting Windsor. As usual with M&S sales there were racks of clothes, many on wrongly marked hangers and a growing number of items lying on the floor. The shop floor staff appeared more interested in bickering amongst themselves about who was doing what and who was supposed to be helping who. Laughably, someone who looked like a young manager walked down the shop floor and ignored the lack of staff activity. On his way back he stopped to pick up 2 garments and did not appear to notice or do anything about the dozens of other items. The worst bit was the fitting rooms where there was total chaos. Dozens of items were lying around on the floor and seats with no sign of any effort to clear them up or provide adequate rails for customers to hang them, if not required. The older lady on the tills was the only redeeming thing about the store. She was polite and efficient and apologised when we commented on the state of the store. This store is in desperate need of stronger management and supervision. M&S figures down again. I wonder why?

One of my favourite shops to visit in Windsor. Friendly professional staff make your shopping experience enjoyable. A+!
