Wonderful Italian restaurant just off the Bigg Market. Food is always excellent and there is a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and service is very good. They do a great value special meal at lunchtime and evenings.My only criticism would be that they should change this menu more frequently as it does not seem to vary much from month to month. It remains, however my favourite Italian restaurant in Newcastle.
This is a beautiful place for a lovely lunch. Great staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Exquisite wine and wonderful food all economically priced. Thank you for another great venue to catch up with old friends. See you again soon x
A nice small and friendly place. Very clean and the staff is very nice and gives good service. They take good care without being pushy. Food is excellent and just enough. Not too much nor too less. We enjoyed our 3 course meal..thank you very much.
Always the most delicious food and friendly atmosphere. A group of us went yesterday afternoon, thinking Mario's was open all day, and only realised they close at 2pm halfway through courses. We apparently all had a senior moment! Although staff had left, rather than usher us out, they were fantastic, made us desserts and coffee, and were absolutely fab! Thank you!
Lovely, lively and friendly place. We went late on a Saturday night and had a fabulous meal and the service was perfect. Not pushy and not at all slow, spot on. Been before and was not disappointed! Well recommended.

Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff. The menu is a bit limited but what they do have they do well at a very reasonable price. My son and I enjoyed our meal.
