I was in Canterbury so thought i would give this place a try i thought the large haddock i had was reasonable price and excellent however i had medium chips and thought the price of £2.50 for no more then a handle was a bit extortionate i appreciate quality has a price but then this wasnt the Ritz.

Just had a very unpleasant experience in this establishment,asked for a pie and sausage and although the pies were in the warmer they were not hot,I was told my pie was being heated up an when asking if in the microwave and the answer was yes I changed my mind as a pie does not heat up well,soggy pastry!I asked the young woman if she agreed,she and her colleague slammed my money down and looked away,not answering any other questions,I do hope the owner reads these comments and perhaps might think of giving some training in common curtesy and manners,these this type of service will definitely keep me and I suspect others away..........
