We tried the £7.99 lunch deal of 1 starter and 1 main. Great value for money. Butterfly king prawns were small in portion but delicious. Mains were cooked nicely and fresh. Cocktails were about £6.50, quite large and strong. Ambience could be a bit less clinical but good experience overall.

Great birthday lunch at Tulip today. Food was fantastic and 7.99 menu good value for money. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere! Looking forward to another visit soon!

Tulip food is amazing. Tonight is the first time that I have ordered from Tulip and it won’t be the last time. Very tasty especially the flat bread. Good price as well. Amazing restaurant

Stumbled upon this place a couple of weeks ago in Canterbury and have been back every weekend since. The service is so friendly - everyone is polite, inviting and patient. The star is the food. Delicious! EVERYTHING i've tried was flavoursome and fresh tasting. The portion sizes are ok although maybe on the pricey side for what you get. Would love more rice to come with meal as only a small amount accompanies your main. During the week there is a £7.99 lunch menu which is worth doing. What's great about that is it is the same as the main menu so you don't feel like you're limited by choice. We tried a few dishes because the lunch offer is reasonably priced (although portions smaller than if ordered of main menu).and definitely helped to simply my choices each time I go back now. Hidden gem!

Tulip is the best Turkish restaurant in Canterbury, closely followed by Alaturka. Its dishes are generous and very well cooked, the mezzes are great, they offer tasty meat and good options for vegetarians, too. Not too pricy, the service is excellent and the quality is consistently high. Very recommended. One of my favourite restaurants in Canterbury, that I visit frequently. Great location, good desserts and free Turkish tea
