When I lived in the area this was my local chippie, I always loved the food here it was amazing. Even when I moved to Fratton I still came to see my friend and get a bag of tasty food. It has been nearly 5 years since I moved to the US and nearly every day I miss going to the chippy for Haddock and Chips, they could even skin it for you the customer service is that good.

We arrived in Portsmouth early for the ferry and hungry after our journey so we headed to the seafront area. We found the dish bar as it was about to close so the choice was limited. Food was hot, good and reasonably priced.Food: 5/5

We always enjoy eating from this place when we visit Portsmouth. Freshly cooked, service with a smile and but 5 minutes walk to eat your tasty, hot food by the seaside. What's not to like! While the food is cooked, you can explore a 2008 Portsmouth FA cup poster and view the premier league tube map, which makes for interesting reading. We had 2 large fish and chips, scampi and normal fish, with sauces for £28.80.
Bought 2 fish and chips whilst staying at Southsea caravans. Chips lovely, peas and curry sauce good as usual. Batter on fish needs to be thinner in my opinion, held too much oil. Fish inside was tasty tho. Good value about £16 compared to other F&C outlets locally Parking: Free parking outside
Myself and my wife went for a drive to southsea and looked up chip shops and this one came up as a 4.5 rating we sat in our car by the sea front and we must say the chips were delicious. Recommended.Food: 5/5
Came here 17 years ago on holiday and had the best chips. Back today passing through on my honeymoon and proud to say the quality is topnotch and the team have kept up standards. Delicious food that brought back many happy memories! Thanks guys, hoping to be back again soon!
