Good for electronics and computing basics. As for most high street stores cables and other items way overpriced as a lot cheaper from overseas suppliers online. But if you need it now the staff are knowledgeable.
Friendly and helpful staff as always, my only problem with Maplin is the fact that they are very limited on the stock that they sell. Quite often I find myself having to use the internet to find lots of components that Maplins don't sell. This is a real shame as components are one of the very few things that I would prefer to buy from an actual shop.
Very helpful staff. Sorted all I needed for a Year 3 electricity project. Store packed with things from batteries to DJ equipment. What they don't have they will post to you for free.
From what I know a member of staff lied to my mum about how a USB to micro USB wont connect my xbox one remote to my PC and the charged her for an xeon gamepad pro which is more expensive than the micro usb which would have worked just fine! I am sorry if it wasn't this store however it is statistically the most likely one as it is the only one nearby. If you don't know much about tech and dont want to get ripped off I suggest you go somewhere like currys pc world
Great little store for the off electrical accessory. Lacked a few common items I would have expected and the pricing was a little volatile on some items, but would recommend none the less.
Its a good store with a lot of tech but most of the tech is dated and its hard to understand how they have organised the shop because it's hard to find what you're looking for
Very bad service. They cheat people into buying useless things. Avoid this maplin, try going to the one in Birmingham, they are helpful.
Good selection of products however could do with being more price competitive and having more up to date PC components.
Great store but bad layout and extremely overpriced
It's Maplin, a touch overpriced but convenient. Staff are helpful.
