Some minor issues with the online appointment system and a call to the customer service team before we attended but once we arrived we were well looked after by the staff in store. John was absolutely brilliant, excellent customer service
Had to visit the Apple Touchwood shop and the Touchwood Centre Solihull after one of my Apple products failed. The appointment was made online following a few calls to rectify my issue over the phone. When I arrived the staff were very friendly yet professional. They ended up keeping my device for 1 and a half hours while they reinstalled the operating system. They were fabulous, they completed the work and there was no charge. Can’t thank them enough. The Touchwood Centre is a very pleasant shopping Centre, it’s clean and very well set out. The Apple Touchwood shop is a large open plan store with lots of mobile devices on show for customers to pick up and scroll through. As previously mentioned, the staff are really friendly and there are at least 10 members of staff so you shouldn’t be waiting too long I believe there’s an appointment system, I would also recommend booking before you hand There is plenty of parking in a couple of underground car parks that are accessible via escalators and lifts. These car parks get busy at peak times and weekends. Parking fees aren’t too bad either.
Bridget was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. She showed me how to get the best out of my phone and highlighted features that I had access to but was not currently using. She is passionate and very helpful. Also provided lots of suggestions for my next purchase. It was a pleasure visiting the store because of her.
Booked an appointment online, seen quickly after arriving at the store, had a good chat with the staff about different products etc. Phone was fixed and returned good as new within an hour. Excellent service!
My experience was with the very knowledgeable genius bar staff, who were very efficient and technically competent. Was informed very clearly of every step of process to fixing my issues. All these GB staff seemed to be very efficient at multi tasking with other staff queries. If I have a concern it would be - why have the need for these staff if Apple products were as reliable / sturdy as per reputation. Way too many customers with some kind of product issue.
I had a great experience in apple touchwood as I was helped by Teeno from the Repair team. He was thoughtful, and guided me very considerately through a MacBook repair. I felt completely reassured with Apple’s service and repair process. He was kind and explained things step by step. he has a real instinct to understand customers. Good work!
Excellent customer service from the staff here. They understood my needs and advised on the most suitable IPad for me and then ensured it was all set up for me to be able to use immediately.i am clueless when it comes to tech but they explained everything in clear terms and allowed me plenty of time to try things out and answered all my questions..no matter how dumb they must sound to experts. A really enjoyable and informative experience.
The genius centre is useless, because they do not know their own policy for AppleCare+. They tried to quote me £229 for the repair of some minor accidental external enclosure-only damage on my MacBook Pro when I have applecare+; the Apple website clearly states that for this case I should be charged £79. When I asked the staff why it was not £79 they told me that was ‘just for phones’.
I went to the Apple shop in Touchwood to buy a new iPhone 14pro. For years now, my kids have always had better phones than me, so I figured I deserved to push the boat out, so- off I went to the Apple shop and bought the phone, excellent service and phenomenally knowledgeable staff as always. I decided to also buy the ‘guaranteed for life’ screen protector applied by a real cool machine by an Apple genius! , I also bought the recommended apple case! AND a recommended car air vent MagSafe phone holder!! I figured that if I had a problem with anything, I could go back to the Apple shop! I’d paid considerably more for this option but hey-let’s not skimp eh! So, £1,200 later, off i trott, happy as Larry’s older brother! Then, 8 or so months later, I dropped my phone, the corner of the case split and the screen protector cracked! ‍ back to the Apple, one stop shop, only to be told ‘you have to deal direct with Belkin via the website for a screen protector replacement’ as regards the case, ‘you have to contact Apple directly on their website’ so, goodness knows how many messages, phone calls and verification photographs sent to the people who check this stuff, on, I eventually a week + later was sent a replacement screen protector from Belkin-which-by the way-can only to be fitted by Apple! and a replacement Apple case!-Which, in my opinion, wasn’t up to the job of protecting the phone-and consequently the screen-So my advice is, don’t bother, go to Amazon, pay a fraction of the inflated Apple shop prices, and any problems or failures are sorted efficiently and replaced the next day! I Don’t want to see the end of the high street but these stores don’t do themselves any favours! No bad mouthing of anyone, just sharing my experience! ‍
I went here for vision pro demo and juliet explained me so well. Detailed explanation by her. Well done
