I love Maplins. Was so chuffed when we got this store in Shrewsbury.  I can't believe it's closing down soon. I am gutted. Yes it's not as cheap as some other stores but they offer choice that no other store does. Hang on I'll just get a USB or 2.5 Audio jack and some resistors from the other shop which is????? If I had anough cash I would buy the chain and rescue it. It helps people who want to be creative and design something interesting. I really can't stress enough how much this is a great loss for Shrewsbury.

Mediocre collection of items in store, Un-competitive prices compared to online shopping and generally nothing special. It's the kind of place you can waste 20 minutes in and then forget what you just did for 20 minutes as you walk out of the door because it was that bland.

A great place to get electrical items and computer parts. Wide range of electrical items and friendly staff.
