It's the 3 day that I'm spending at home waiting for a delivery, and suddenly now is out of stock.

- The first day they gave me a delivery window, so I waited for the item. The item was not delivered so I called them and after 40 minutes waiting I got to speak with someone that assured me the item had leaved the depot and that the driver was not answering, so they didn't know were it was. That is fine (I thought), as there are things they cannot control.
- The second day I called first in the morning, and then at 5pm asking for my item. In both occasions they told me my item was on its way, due to arrive that same day, but that the delivery driver was catching up with the delivery of the day before, so it was expected to be late. Nothing arrived.
- The third day, after calling and waiting on the phone, finally someone confirms that they don't have the item in stock, and that I have spend my last 2 days waiting for nothing.

It seems to me that basically their customer service just try to pass the ball to the next one, knowing that they are not going to be hold responsible for it.
At the same time, the waiting time on the phone (about 4 hours in the last 3 days) shows an obvious lack of personnel at their side, not ready for the extra work they need to do in Christmas period (that also matches with the "passing the ball" attitude).

In short, if you are planning to order something from them, please be aware that if everything goes well fine, but if not, you will be dealing with a very poor customer service, with low capacity of response and without any idea of what is going on with your order (or with not problem of lying about it).

Whenever I've been here and need to ask about specifics of certain products eg cameras and computers they just read the ticket that is in front of item that I've just read myself. Sales people don't seem to know their products nowadays just go by product description. 
I had a problem trying to order a camera online last year it kept saying it was in stock and we paid for it but then would get an email saying it was out of stock. The nearest store that had the same camera was stoke on Trent. I was going to cancel order completely but the manager said he lived in stoke and would get collect it for me. That's a proper salesman who goes extra mile. Thanks.
I would give 5 stars for this but rest of staff don't care.

Unfortunately for stores there isn't much choice now, but if you like to see what you want to buy then Currys isn't that bad.

If you have access to the internet then maybe search online as you might find it cheaper.

The young lady,(I believe her name to be 'Elly'), at the Shrewsbury branch, could not have been, in my opinion,  more knowledgeable, more customer friendly, or, more polite and efficient.
I assume, that this is all due to personality, product knowledge and training ... she excelled herself.
