Great service and good prices..  really excellent staff..superb stock

Expensive and more like a toy shop than an electronic store these days. Be wary of the refund policy on faulty goods. They have to be sent away to be tested if the packaging has been opened. You don't get your money back immediately, it can take up to three weeks or longer, especially if you pay cash. To avoid hassle don't buy anything expensive. Also they have a habit of reselling used/ faulty items as new. Quality of some goods isn't up to much only really useful if need something that day and can't wait

I am not sure if Maplins is closing down, anyway it has a reasonable choice of electronic and computer accessories ideal  for the hobby enthusiasts only problem is they are not usually the cheapest although they do offer price comparison. Staff I have found to be knowledgeable and helpful and location is good especially if you have own transport

Good range of tech. Usually good offers on batteries and other small items. But increasingly expensive prices, and struggling to justify itself in the face of online retailers.

Today sign on their DOOR said "open until 6pm". Got there just after 5 pm and they refused to open saying they closed at 5. I pointed to the sign and said "this says 6pm" and was told through the glass that it was wrong!! Poor maplins very poor

Love the store and the big guy with the ginger hair is superb at his job. He's a top bloke

Sells lots of good electronic stuff and has helpful friendly staff.

Good range of products but some stuff is over priced.

Price for WF100 that I was looking for was not as per the website price but service was very good..

Gadget heaven ... Well trained staff and loads of stuff of the Techy
