Overall, the museum is clean, with a great variety of galleries, ranging from Chinese and Indian heritage to fossils, dinosaurs, a vivarium, and highly detailed taxidermy exhibits. Accessibility available, lift throughout, snacks bar on ground floor. Staff very friendly.nnMuseum accepts donations, entry is free. Parking around the museum, but not of their own.
An amazing museum that showcases artifacts from around the world. Educating on cultures and life.nIt's been redone since our last visit, great to go through the front entrance, friendly staff situated at strategic points to offer help and guidance. Floor guides clearly sign posted.nAccessibility with lifts if needed.nnOur focus this visit was fossils, minerals and of course dinosaurs
Lovely small museum with free admission. It’s a child friendly museum with great activities for the children to do such as drawing and writing your wishes, they also have a crafts section making Chinese lanterns. My girls loved seeing the T-rex skeleton, the reptiles and the Egyptian section.
This is a free museum like rest of the museums in Manchester. This has a unique collections of prehistoric remains and many other aquatic and land animals.nThis is again an amazing place to bring kids and show them what existed and also it’s not bad for parents either.nIf you are a young adults, you can visit too. Nothing to lose but everything to gain.nThere is a shop inside, cafe the best spiced chai latte I had in the UK. It takes about 4-5 hrs to complete this if you see everything thoroughly.
An absolutely first class attraction close to the heart of Manchester. No, it isn't the Natural History Museum in London but it's not a million miles behind. A great place to pass a few hours with the small dude exploring dinosaurs & froggies, and a myriad of other displays bringing the world around us into focus in easily digestible way.nThe staff are wonderfully polite and friendly, everyone seems enthusiastic and happy to be there. The exhibits are wonderful.nDefinitely worth visiting again and again.
