Story

Manchester Central corps of the Salvation Army is the main Salvation Army church (corps) in the city of Manchester.Located on the University of Manchester campus, the corps has a strong African flavour with a number of the congregation coming from Zimbabwe, together with its Shona-speaking choir. Other nationalities worshiping there are/have included Zambian, Eritrean, Korean, Liberian, Italian, Namibian and Nigerian, as well as British members.There is a strong outreach to students of the University of Manchester.

Very good venue, had our works Christmas party here. It was spectacular. Had a show, a welcome snacks, a meal and indoor rides, huge space loads of people but didn't need to wait to be served at any bars as so many bars and loads of staff serving.. Loved it. Also toilets were new and perfectly clean. The only thing I didn't like was music being so loud as you couldn't hear anyone speak. Wish they keep it at sensible volume next time. Otherwise it was great
Once I found the right entrance I had an enjoyable time there. Facilities were clean and modern. The event I was attending, New Scientist Live, was interesting.
We've spent a few days now coming and going from the filming of ninja warrior. The venue is clean tidy and had good air conditioning which was definitely needed! The staff are all very friendly and helpful especially James who was dealing with the friends and family bookings. He was always happy to help and went above and beyond his job on many occasions, truly an asset to the venue! Can't wait to return for next year's filming
We caught the V1 BUS into manchester,the bus stop was near the Venue. We enjoyed the time, looking at new machinery and ideas. Chatting to the exibiters is always good. The Venue is clean,. welcoming and helpful staff make your attendance a good start to the day. Sad that more were not exhibiting, and visitors attendance were not as good as it should have been. Maybe a guide to park and ride on bus parks would be helpful. As very few want to travel into the city by car, as parking is very expensive.
I attended the EAHAD 2023 conference in Feb 2023 here, and the team at the Manchester Central Convention Centre did us proud. The organisation & flow of the meeting, along with the amazing architecture & feeling of the building was fabulous. There are plenty of toilets around the building, I rarely had to queue which for a meeting with 2000 delegates is pretty good going. The support team were really friendly & approachable. The caterers were fantastic, food was all labelled with allergens which was great! Staff were knowledgeable & helpful in finding other items where needed. In addition to the free food & drink there was also a coffee vendor on site for those wishing to have more interesting beverages.
After a long search and walk of about 2 hours of the Manchester Convention Centre as my Google map keeps making me go in circles ,l eventually found the place. The security access to the centre was very robust as searches were conducted before entrance to the centre and your access code invite are verified. I was able to meet the speech held by one of the respected ex footballer ,Gary Nevile. As I wondered what is an ex football and ex juventus manager doing in IT,then I came back to my senses to realise he must be an investor to one if not some of the product lines in the different stands. The environment is very spacious and airy. Different products owners and sales agents were able to pitch their products. I explored alot of the stands related to my profession that could benefit my company. Souvenirs were offered and contacts exchanged for free demos with my company. In the convention centre, the restroom are very clean and neat.There were also food stands for breaks and also some stands for free drinks to quench the thirst of the guest.I never knew it was a very huge place until I went in. I will be attending any other convention or seminar held in this arena now that I can figure the place out

Enjoyable & really fun afternoon crafting our own one off blend of Gin under the supervision of Jamie.. they also keep your individual gin recipe, so you can re-order one of the Gin maestros, lots of different gins to try, great vibe & a class of 15 on our session, all got on well and had a great chat! I guess a mix of alcohol and the comfortable setting is also the right blend for great time! Went into the restaurant following the crafting session had the Sunday lunch good quality at a reasonable price will visit again
Went for the Kickback custom bike and tattoo tea party conventions. Great location with plenty of room and facilities
Staff and security couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to move our bags for us when the bike show closed but we stayed on for the tattoo show.
