It's a car park. It's chuffing expensive. It's essential if you've got to suffer the airport. What more can I say? If you can think of a better, cheaper option,  then maybe go with that, but, otherwise this will do the job just fine.

Very expensive parking had to pay extra 2.50 at exit barrier due to traffic in car park being slow on top of the 6 pound I already payed to stay for and hour.

Plenty of space usually, but it's very expensive to pick someone up. If they're already waiting outside the terminal, you're still going to need to pay £4 to exit the arrivals area after pickup even if you've not actually waited or parked. Time in arrivals is charged at £4 per 30 minutes. It can be expensive if a flight is delayed so do check the flight number for delay before you enter into the arrivals at Terminal 2. There are plenty of pubs, and even a visit to Wythenshawe town within 5 minutes drive, so plan your time wisely.
