Friendly staff clean and big Kingsize beds and room. Nice restaurant and plenty of food options in walking distance. After staying for 3 days I'd notice things like no toilet brush, tea kettle was broken leaking water profusely. Bathtub stopper was stuck, it wouldn't open, I had to empty a full tub of water. I called front desk. No one ever came to repair it😠

Cons: old croissants, steam room not even warm, jacuzzi when works smells so badly with chlorine that I escaped after 2 minutes, room: every time I wanted use heater I had to call reception to unlock that remotely cause it wasn't scheduled. No whirlpool to dry shorts, no tap with drinking water at pool/jacuzzi. Pros: sauna is really hot

This hotel us fantastic. Noel really is an asset to the hotel. Great chap. Hard working man. Food and drink is great.

An average hotel in poor setting. Nothing wrong with room which was modern, clean, with a comfortable King Koil mattress. The towels had seen better days and we're rather hard to the touch. The large bar was lacking in any character and was very cold temperature wise. Reception is modern with welcoming staff, but had huge heaters sitting around edges, so presuming there was problem with heating although no information offered. Breakfast was lovely with fresh hot food constantly refreshed and a wide assortment. Setting of hotel looks onto a halting site where we had the shocking and upsetting experience of viewing a man beating a horse until the poor horse collapsed. Realize this despicable act is not the hotels fault but the it marred the weekend. I won't be back.

View was really bad and the restaurant was terrible. Everything else wasn't too bad .
