Stay was very brief but loved it. Had fun in the lobby bar which had great atmosphere. Our room has a lovely curved window with loungey chairs to enjoy the view. Nice place
Fantastic find. This was our first time staying in the hotel and can’t wait to go back. Extremely clean in all areas. Excellent service, especially at breakfast, no request was too much. Lovely atmosphere at dinner, nice choices and again very good service. Went to the pool twice , didn’t use the gym but looked well equipt. Hotel is within walking distance of the city with some nice bars only a short walk .
Excellent staff. So friendly, accommodating and helpful. We stayed their for my sister's hen party and they were fantastic! Food was lovely and rooms were too. I would highly recommend!
The Clayton is ideally located down on the river Shannon and is only a few hundred meters from the city centre. The bar had lovely decor as with the rest of the hotel . The service from reception was top class while the service from the bar sector was lacking with some of the staff coming across as aloof with the phrase just one minute being said when I approached the bar. The room was ok albeit a bit cluttered the extractor fan was faulty and lighting was poor. One of the windows not in our room had a handle replaced leaving the original holes exposed. Overall had mixed opinions about the hotel. Overall the hotel is ideally located and has great amenities grand for a short stay.
Great hotel! Very clean and the staff is excellent, they are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it is on the river and close to the city center. The rooms were clean and the bar tenders are excellent.
