Clean hotel, good bar and restaurant. Food was good. Great desserts. Our room was small for 4 people, the tub in the bathroom is a little difficult to get in and out. Need better grab bars to get in and out of the bathroom tub. Great counter space in the bathroom. Beds were VERY comfortable. Air condition was I would stay here again. Very close to things to do In limerick. Also very easy to order uber and get around.
I recently stayed at the Clayton Hotel Limerick and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right on the River Shannon with stunning views, especially at sunset. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home.nnOur room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The beds were cozy and the bathroom was spotless. We also really enjoyed the hotel restaurant—great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.nnThe leisure facilities were a huge bonus too. The pool and gym were clean and well-maintained, and it was such a nice way to unwind after exploring Limerick.nnWould definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’ll be back for sure!
I stayed for one night on business in this hotel, and it was definitely an above average experience. Maggie, at the front desk, was great. She checked me in, was very helpful on directions, parking, etc.nnMy room was spacious, and the view was stunning. It was a corner room that overlooked the river.
Hotel is in a great location and the views over the River Shannon and the City from the upper floors are excellent. Family Room 2+2 was perfect in terms of size. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Ate in the bar one night and the staff were very friendly, especially with the kids. Hotel is a short walk along the waterfront from the centre of Limerick. Parking available 1 minute walk away is handy too. And getting out to explore the likes of Bunratty Castle etc was quick and easy.nnThe only part I found wanting was the changing rooms for the pool. Very small, cramped and not kept too well. Particularly the floors left soaking and mucky from people's shoes. A bit more attention during busy times would make a huge difference. That is the only real complaint though so overall a good stay.
Very nice hotel, right on the river. It can be a bit noisy as the walls are a bit thin. And the bathtub is quite narrow when you shower. But big spacious rooms ans a beautiful view of the river
