Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It’s a huge, beautiful property with a welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. We had great drinks in the bar and an amazing dinner at the Indian restaurant. I had mentioned it was my husband’s birthday, and they went out of their way to make it extra special. Our one-night stay was perfect from start to finish.
Second and last time I'll stay here. Rooms similar to cheap Premier Inn, clean and basic.nHad a nice meal in the restaurant. Drinks service was abysmal. My shortest wait for a drink was 7 minutes, longest wait 18 minutes. Restaurant manager and his assistant had no interest or maybe no clue how a restaurant should be run. What saved the day were 3 members of staff. Catherine should be the manager realistically was running the shownCaesar floating between bar and floor was there at beck and call with a smile and good humour.nTalita I hope that's correct always available with a spring in her step. She should be Catherine's assistant manager.nThe singer Dermot Kearns wasn't just amazing but he made my mother's night with his interaction. I would hire these people in a heartbeat.nI had to leave my room to connect to Internet as not available in the bedroom.nHotel hierarchy are resting on their laurels. They need to up their game.nCatherine, Talita, Caesar and Dermot thank you so much for saving the day. If we return it's because of you.
We stayed here for a stopover and were pleasantly surprised by the interior compared to first impressions. The reception staff were friendly and polite. The room was large, clean and warm with plenty of hot water. In the morning breakfast was sufficient however some of the staff were non attentive and apart from asking for the room number they were not helpful. Saying that it wouldn't stop me staying again.
Rooms are spacious. Hotel staff is helpful and responsive. The two restaurants in the premise are really great. The only negative was poor WiFi in the room. It was poor even after changing rooms. Not good enough if you are planning to work from the room.
The staff are the best peoplenin the world! Genuinely kind, friendly people. I always feel welcome and well taken care of when I stay here! They always have honest recommendations of where to go or what to do. Plus, it’s an easy bus to downtown Limerick and the in-house restaurant is great too! It’s one of the best hotel breakfasts in the world. In my opinion!! I love beans on toast! South Court is my favorite hotel!
