Stayed here for one night. Basic enough but did have tea making facilities. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine too. Staff were friendly but amenities here are very basic. €14 euro for breakfast in the adjoining cafe was a no for me. Got a fine amount of food from the neighbouring Aldi for less than half that price.
The rooms were functional, but without air conditioning, they were exceptionally warm. We utilised the portable fan during the night to try and stay cool. The reception team were always friendly and nothing was too much.nThe cafe below was connected to reception and they do excellent breakfasts.nThe shower head had excellent pressure.
Nothing special about this place. Just a hotel with some beds outside of town - the wifi worked well and the rate was the cheapest - you are outside of the town by a decent amount though so not best for people wanting to walk around the city to explore.
I was visiting the University of Limerick Arena for an event and this hotel is just around the corner from the venue. Travelodge is by its; nature a lodging and so I didn't have any specific expectations. Checking-in went smoothly, the room was basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable.nnGreat big window. Felt safe for a single ocupant.nnThey do not serve breakfast and the hotel doesn't have a bar or resturant, but it's next to a nice cafe that was open for breakfast and there was access through a door so you wouldn't need to go out.nnPlenty of parking, both outside the entrance and underneath in the carpark.nnQuite area, with an Aldi and a garage nearby if you wanted to buy something and bring to the room to eat.
Arrived in a heatwave and the huge windows don't open...bed lying in the sun all day.. 34 degrees in the room had to leave it till late at night and it cooled down a bit.nAlso no breakfast or bar here
