Fantastic Log Cabin in an outstandingly beautiful location. The quality of these cabins really are 5 star luxury. Me, my partner and dog have been twice and can not wait until we are able to go again, this we talk about frequently. If you are looking for a relaxing break, to wind down and forget your troubles, this will do the trick. You don’t know what quiet is until you stay here. The cabin is huge, with fantastic sized rooms and the hottub is an added bonus. All very clean. All the surrounding scenery is stunning, and no where I have been quite beats it. Have told many family and friends about this place, and we all hope to book one Christmas. It is a truly special treasure.

We had a relaxing weekend in cabin haf, we loved the hot tub and the views are stunning. The cabin really is 5*

My husband and I stayed in Cabin Haf for a weekend but left after one night. First impressions were excellent, it looked really nice and idyllic. When we arrived we were greeted by a toilet full of urine and toilet paper, the second toilet had a snapped toilet seat and the 3rd (ensuite) had sick around the rim and under the seat. Not a great start but we put on a brave face. The sink was also full of the last guests wet swimsuits which rendered the main bathroom unusable. The hot tub was pleasant but the pillows from the sides were snapped off so not a great experience. We had a good night's sleep and woke the next morning. Saturday morning consisted of a lazy sofa morning in front of the television. We decided to open the sofa bed out so we could lay around and watch t.v., we opened the sofa bed up and found black stains, dog hair and all sorts of nastiness. I complained at once via email. The response I got is what annoys me most, the owner accused me of making all of the mess and damage and said "it's funny how you're complaining after using the facilities for a night". They went on to say "if you leave now (Saturday afternoon) i will refund Saturday night rental of £140" but nothing more. They also said that if there was a whole family going to be using the cabin then they would have made sure the bathroom was fixed and the sofa bed was clean. Now, I didn't complain too much but seriously! I rented the WHOLE cabin! Not one room, not one bathroom - the WHOLE cabin. If I wanted to sleep on the kitchen floor or sofa bed or kids bedroom then it should be clean and ready to use. Speaking of kitchens, I managed to write my name in the grease on the cooker and cooker hood....perhaps if there were more of us going they would have cleaned the cooker hey? See pictures. So, I've been refunded for the night that we didn't stay but they still feel that £140 per night is a good price for a bedroom in a dirty log cabin. I will be posting this review to as many sites as possible in the hope that you make the right call and stay away from these cabins. If the refund for the rest of the ill fated trip ever arrives I'll be sure to update this site and let you all know, I won't hold my breath just yet. P.s If anyone would like to see all pictures and correspondence then please leave a reply.....im happy to share my experience with you all.
