Excellent service. Spoke to receptionist early afternoon about my 96yr old dad having what looked like cellulitis on his leg. Advised to send photos and that someone would call back. Call back within 2 hrs from GP and after further discussion of the problem, had an arrangement to pick up antibiotics from local pharmacy. Thank you.
I just want to say all the times I’ve ever phoned up the receptionists women are absolutely horrendous there rude , put words in your mouth , I also had a women phone me to take more details before getting through for an emergency appointment to see the doctor I explained I haven’t been eaten due to being very unwell and I struggle to eat as it is and she already started off by saying it was I didn’t need any medicine and I will be fine also if I was ever having problems again eating to contact the doctors as they said to me last time I was there so I explained this to the women and she literally had the audacity to say well this is something we can look at when your better she went you are not helping yourself Pretoria . By this point my blood is boiling with anger and I was getting upset at this point as I just needed some help to talk to someone and this women was not helping me at all she started putting words in my mouth talking over me saying I will be fine and to start eating how can you say that to someone that struggles ! I just had enough by this point I was getting upset and hung up …. 15 mins later another NICE women phoned me and said we can get u booked in for Thursday for an appointment . there meant to understand but this women shouldn’t even be working there !
Shocking attitude from receptionists..extremely unhelpful and abrupt and condescending. I've been registered with this practice since moving to the area in 2020 and I have still not managed to have a face to face appointment. You have to submit a request through their online booking system.."Ask my GP"...what exactly is going on with GP's..no wonder A&E Depts have 10hr wait at times and are run off their feet..doctors should start seeing patients as that is their job..and leave A&E for the purpose iti is intended...however, when you finally get to speak to one of the doctors on the phone they are very helpful..maybe some empathy training the the reception staff would be helpful...as let's face it, who phones the doctor when they are well.
Awful service. Would not recommend when there are far better practices in the same building! Waiting times are ridiculous. Staff are rude.
Ladies at the reception hopeless very not nice, you wait a very long time for a visit if it happens at all because they do everything to prevent the visit from happening. In general, a hopeless clinic will sooner exhaust the patient than ask for anything.
I don't know where to start. I always come away feeling extremely frustrated to the point of tears. Ask my gp service is a massive pain in the neck. I wonder how the elderly or vulnerable people manage to navigate it. Often you just get a reply with book a covid test from someone who isn't a doctor. It's a nightmare to speak to anyone on the phone. Ask my gp is often closed by 10am, so then you brave calling & risk being on hold for ages and then finally get greeted by a rude, stressed, unhelpful receptionist. Utter waste of time. Whole system is verging on negligence.
Cannot get an appointment. Online system full before 8am each day. Surgery website not even updated re. their appointments process. No call wait service when you call. Just a message to say call back.The last thing patients need is the stress of not even being able to contact their surgery. Its absolutely shocking!
I've been with Logan practice all my life. Never had an issue with them. If I phone up about an appointment for my kids, they are seen that day. If I require an emergency appointment for a genuine reason, which some patients seem not to be able to grasp, I'm seen that day. If it's not an emergency, I can phone up and be seen two days later. If I require a repeat appointment with a specific doctor, I ask for that specific doctor and they give me an appointment. I'm not sure how the other reviewers are approaching the staff but I've always been nice and polite and the staff have been nothing less in return. Maybe if some of the reviewers were to change their attitude, they would find they have a different experience. Reception staff aren't there to embarrass you, they're there to triage you. So they can make sure your medical needs are addressed effectively. They're not there to make your life difficult, they are simply doing their job. And when someone makes it difficult for them, it's no wonder they're not as nicey nice as they could be!!
Modern health Centre, staff very helpful
So called today and the reception lady was very rude attitude was appealing, I have been without my repeat prescription for over a week was waiting on a call back never happened and when I asked to talk to a doctor she told me I have to wait till tomorrow at 7am. All in all the 2 time I have call in the lady has been unpleasant unhelpful and rude aggressive tone.
