I just wanted to say how absolutely amazing this practice is! But particularly Nurse Leanne who my spaniel Darla absolutely adores! Darla ended up needing to come in for bandage changes every few days which she wasn’t keen on at first, but after meeting Leanne she went from trying to pull me out the door, to being the wiggliest spaniel ever - excited to see the nurse for her checkups! You made the whole experience great, thank you!
Was recommended Lynwood Vets as the best practice for our baby tortoise and wasn’t disappointed. Anna is very knowledgeable and we’re confident he’ll receive the best care whenever required.
We have, unfortunately, had many visits to Lynwood in the past year. All staff, receptionists, nurses, vets have been extremely helpful. Never a problem to get an appointment as urgently as needed. Knowledgable vets with different areas of expertise who work together as a team and consult with each other freely. Can’t fault this Practice at all. They have all been so kind to our gorgeous cat who has so many problems. Nurse even warmed his blankets on the radiator for him! Thank you Lynwood Wimborne.
I want to say how upset and angry I am after collecting my dog of 13 years ashes today. My dog was sadly put to sleep on Bank holiday Monday by Vets now who run out of lynwood vets wimborne. I received a call last night from vetsnow to say that I could collect my boys ashes so this morning I called to check what time I could go, whoever answered the phone at Lynwood said to me ' I would need to check that you have paid or else you can't take him' what the hell? Yes I paid on the day he was put to sleep. On arriving this afternoon I waited at the desk whilst they went out the back to bring my boy out to me, there were other dogs in the waiting room at this time. My boy was brought out to me and just handed over in a gift bag like he was a birthday present, no sorry for your loss, no taking me into another room, no compassion was shown to me at all, disgusting. When I went back into complain the excuse was that my boy was put to sleep by vets now not lynwood? That should not make a difference at all, compassion should be shown. I have had another pets put to sleep, you are taken away from other people and the handing over of your pet is done privately. Thank god my normal vets was Vets Smith who I highly recommend, I can't even fault the emergency vet vets now but I would Never recommend Lynwood vets in wimborne. Yes you may think it is only a dog, but every pet has been part of a family and when you loose them suddenly it's completely heartbreaking. The manager at Lynwoods needs to have a good chat to the young girls behind the counter, they shouldn't be doing the job if they cannot show any compassion.
Thank you so much Lynwood vets you are amazing. My dog Benji got a grass seed up his nose and Lynwood made space in their busy day to see him even though we were on holiday in the area and not a regular client. The vet Emily was amazing, made sure Benji had his procedure straight away and was determined to find the offending grass seed. She made me feel at complete ease and I was confident I had left my precious boy in the best hands. I received a lovely phone call not long after leaving my boy to say ‘we got it’. Emily was determined to help and her expertise paid off. Very very happy customers and an even happier Benji who a day later is back to his happy bubbly self. Highly recommend.
