Daniel shaved my cat due to matted hair. He did a superb job keeping our cat Petula calm
Even though I worry about my dog staff are helpful and offer advice if they can Daniel is patient and caring with Jack even though he is a bit snappy and grumpy for a Shih tzu. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
We have been coming here for a number of years but always prefer to see Daniel. His compassion for families and their pets is unmatched. Daniel is fair, honest and sensitive. Can’t thank him enough for how well he’s treated Jim and even me being hysterical! Thank you.
Excellent vets, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Took my english bulldog puppy in for his first vaccine and was welcomed straight through into the treatment room, always helpful when your carrying a nervous puppy. Vet was great and quickly put my dog at ease, so glad I registered him at this vets. Thank you again

I’ve always found the staff & veterinarians at Lydon’s to be warm, welcoming & hold the care and welfare of my pets at the heart of what they do.
Lovely local friendly vets. Staff took time to get to know my nervous dog before treatment. Explained medication and advice well.
Lydons have been our family vet for over 25 years. I would not trust anyone else with my cats and I appreciate all they do to keep 2 very fussy pedigree cats in good health. They are also very compassionate i had to have one of cats put to sleep a few years back but she was poorly and 21 years old - but they never rushed me saying goodbye and I appreciate all the work they do. I would never dream of going anywhere else.
Only just finalised sorting out the confusion caused by reception when chipping my cats, one cat, was already chipped, one needed a chip. They mixed up the animals and nearly let me go without the info I needed to update the first cats details.After clearing this simple error up, I now have to request a change of database as the cats are registered on different ones. This simple, expensive procedure has proved way more hassle than it should have been.
The last couple of years they have gone down. Only interested in making as much money from your pets. Consultation expenses everytime you take your pets even if it's for the same reason..they spend the least time with your pets. But still charge you. Not been the same since lydon went part time..
