The Plough Inn is a great pub. Live music, nice atmosphere, any kind of drink. Waiters and bar people always nice to talk to and smiling. The food is very nice even though a little expensive. But surely is delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area and not. Dog friendly. Kids friendly. People friendly
Had a lovely hour here, enjoying the family festive atmosphere, a great mug of mulled cider, then plant burger, the staff were lovely and friendly and a really nice spot in Northfields
I am usually here once every few months with the same crowd of friends: catching up. Its a lovely place, always full and lively. Each time I approached the bar to get drinks was served quite quickly. The guys behind the bar are v efficient and polite. Food looked amazing, I wasn't hungry last night, but my husband and I are planning to pop up for a meal in the next few days. A lovely place, a balance of old pub with a fresh twist: decor, food etc
A lovely, cosy atmosphere with great food and wonderful staff. I've visited a couple of times with my friend who lives locally and each time has been as good as the other. They do a great roast on a Sunday and they also welcome dogs into the restaurant
We had burgers and fish fries. They were fantastic. The service was absolutely fabulous. Nothing to complain. We will be back.
What a wonderful place to dine. Had a large family meal here today. Food was excellent and the service first class. Plenty of friendly helpful waitresses and waiters who took time out to make us all feel welcome and engaged with my guests in a friendly and warm way. A credit to the pub and would highly recommend for a meal or gathering
Lovely outdoor area but we thought the food was very average considering the price, very small portions and a very simple burger. Service was also not the best but may have just been a busy day! Beers were great but won’t be rushing back for a meal.
Went for Sunday lunch last week and had the pork. Rather disappointing. 3 very small potato’s and 2 carrots were served with my meal. I asked for some additional potatoes and a little dish with 3 more were provided without fuss. The staff are perfectly nice and were happy to add to it but wow come on. Adult portions for adults please on an £18 roast.
We go to The Plough fairly regularly and are always made to feel very welcome by Richard and his team behind the bar. Yesterday we had the Sunday roast I went for the vegetarian option and it was genuinely probably the best roast I've had in the last couple of years. Really amazing. I woke up this morning still thinking about it.
Great pub with nice Christmas decor. Came here for a work Xmas dinner; great table service, wide range of drinks, and delicious food. Only downer is that our company spent alot of money the night we visited for everyone to be shouted out the door on closing.
