I have only tried the chicken and fries here and liked it. Crispy chips and very fresh crumbed chicken with a choice of two different sauces was really nice and fulfilling. I always ask for the chips without salt because they're too salty for me. The service is not great though; it is quite sluggish. The indoor area is small which is why on all of my visits, I had to wait until a seat became free.
The best fried chicken in the UK!!!! Definitely get the chicken and dips $12.50 and you can add a side of fries $4 and a side of coleslaw $3 and it’s enough food for two people . And you get so many dips with the meal- it’s great! Warning- there is no salad here. ‍ Service was really good. Atmosphere is COOL.
Simple comfort food executed to perfection. The chicken breast tenders were juicy and the fries were so beautifully seasoned. Great portions at great prices keeps me coming back for more! Always greeted with friendly faces, service is high up with the food quality. Highly recommend!
Insanely good food. As a long time chicken-on-a-waffle enjoyer, I can confidently say I was very impressed by this place. The food was fried to perfection and the portions are pretty big, especially given how reasonable the prices are! The staff is clearly dedicated to the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Love the dingy diner vibe and how comfy it feels to sit and have lunch here.
I visited Lucky Fox in Sheffield and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I had a chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce, cheese, and sour cream - it usually also comes with pickles & lettuce but I asked for it without these. I also ordered a serving of fries. I had to wait about 15 minutes but when the food arrived I was extremely excited because they served what I can only describe as a mountain of fries, and I am a HUGE fries lover. However, my excitement was quickly dampened, as I soon realised that every single fry on my plate was soggy and lifeless. It was so bad I had to ask the waitress if this was how it was intended to be served not sure if this is to their credit or not, but the answer was no. The chicken sandwich was not bad, I mostly enjoyed it; however it’s not something I’d recommend by any means, as one can easily find a better chicken sandwich at several other places and the fries ruined my experience so much that I could not finish the meal. I’ve added two pictures, one depicting the meal as it was served, and the other showing how much I left behind due to not enjoying the experience. This place is all over TikTok, so maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but a bad day it was, and with this being my experience I don’t think I’ll be back to The Lucky Fox any time soon!
Best place ever, I can not eat chilli and all the food her is spiced, so was prepared for a drink then go, but the chef came out asked why I could not eat his food told him he said no problem and then made me a Fresh batch of batter for me. The chicken was beautiful, I will always eat here now on every visit to Sheffield. Its a must eat at venue Dietary restrictions: Happy to do their very best to make something off menu
I came here for lunch with a friend and it was beyond amazing! The atmosphere was cute and our server was so nice! And the food is so worth it for its price - I will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu!Food: 5/5
It is a nice place to enjoy delicious chicken pieces. And you can't forget the different variety of dips they have. In addition, it is nice to enjoy some sunshines from inside. So, I can say that it is a highly recommended place for these days when you don't want to prepare your meal at home.Food: 5/5
Great place and well priced. I had the Elvis burger, ingredients amazing and the fries are the best I think I have had!! Really good portion size too.Food: 5/5
Wanted to try having heard great things and we weren't disappointed. We walked in late afternoon and got seated straight away. They accept card payments, portions were generous, service was great and the food delicious. The chicken is served boneless apart from the wings I believe and the meat wasn't dry or greasy, it was the best fried chicken we've had. Will certainly be back!
