Burgers were great!! Tasty, juicy, tender, filling but you don't feel heavy after having one as it happens with some burger joints. They were also quite fast.
This was my first order from here and I checked previous reviews before doing so. The burger was raw, the roll was soggy, the pickles were non existent and the loaded truffle fries were some cheese on top of plain fries. £17 for something absolutely disgusting. Don’t believe the reviews that were positive.
This was the last of Time Outs top 10 burger joints in London... Easily the best burger I've had out of them all! The tater tots were the big winner for me! Good quality, and lots of quantity
I would dare to say that I just had the best burger I have had in London in this place. I will be definitely returning, the burger was delicious perfectly crafted with amazing ingredients, the staff were super quick and kind.Food: 5/5
A good burger must have the juice. An excellent must contain delicious Juice. Now, lucky chip's El Chappo, has that, plus a perfectly grilled burger, a thick slice of bacon, covered in blue cheese and jalapenos that translates into a precious moment of sheer joy in my weekly routine as a Londoner. Whomever your are, you must try the Lucky Chip burgers.
All I eat is burgers, I try them at every restaurant, look for good reviews. This though is in a world of its own. Yes it's quite basic but oh my good god. I was in shock how nice it was. Definitely going again! Best burger in London, maybe in the U.K.!
Really superb burgers and mouthwatering chilli cheese chips!! I strongly recommend the Royale with Cheese, probably the best burger I've ever had. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Yumbo!!! Can't wait to go back.
I’d read so much about the burgers here, so had to go to try. They definitely lived up to their reputation, BUT 1 the burgers took over an HOUR to come out and this was after checking with the kitchen 3 times. The 3rd time we were asked if we still wanted them and when the burger arrived and my friend said ‘finally’, we got a response hey be happy I made them fresh for you. I mean, really? 2 the fries arrived 20 min before the burgers fine I can accept this even though not ideal as I wanted to eat them with my burger and I only got told then that the burger of the month that I ordered wasn’t on the menu anymore and did I want this other lamb burger probably made for someone else incorrectly. I don’t like to waste food but this was not what I ordered. I even said just bring me the bacon cheeseburger instead if you can’t do the burger of the month. Then when I got my burger it was neither the bacon cheese or the one I ordered. I mean, it was good but it wasn’t what I was ordered and frankly I was so annoyed by then so I just ate it. Great burger, would have gotten 5 stars from me if not for this really annoying situation..
Burgers are ok but much better places exist now in London. Nice and friendly staff and cocktails available.
One of our fave naughty options in Angel - great burgers, fried chicken breast sandwiches & cheese gravy fries. With the lettuce, onions, American cheese, burger sauce & gravy - very reminiscent of American digs. Only small gripe is that the gravy is a tiny bit salty. But I suppose that's why it's a categorically naughty meal :
