We came here twice and it is by far the most authentic I’ve had in the past few years. Food is served in big portions. Their staff is very attentive: great service. I felt very welcomed and cared for. Overall atmosphere was great as well, the chefs making noodles in the front was amusing to watch. Would definitely come again and bring friends along.
The pulled noodles were perfectly made to taste and texture. We ordered a large and it was huge. It was like 2.5 portions, lots of extra noodles. The beef noodle soup was very flavourful. We also got the noodle with black bean sauce, which was also very tasty. Overall, the service and ambiance were great.
We went here for a late lunch, to try out their freshly made noodle soup. We were seated promptly, and was attended to very quickly. We settled for the beef sliced noodle soup and the braised beef noodle soup. The soup was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and had a great ambience. The staff are very friendly and quick, very courteous.
We ordered the beef tendon and traditional beef noodle soup. This is a great spot! Delicious food, the beef was tender and the broth was so flavourful! The portions are HUGE! Our server was lovely, she spent time explaining different parts of the menu with us, we didn't have to wait long for the food and we enjoyed observing the noodles being pulled. You should check this place out! We'll be back for sure!
Our first meal 1 hour after checking into our hotel after driving all day from NYC for my husband doing the marathon this weekend. The service was excellent, and the food was AMAZING!!!! Watching them make the noodles is so fun. The broth for my signature meat dish was exactly what I was looking for. Lighter and more clean. My husband loved his pork bowl. More rich in broth. He loved his. We both loved what we ordered. Order a SMALL! The bowls are massive. Love it!!!! We're coming back!
The noodles done on place are very filling, take a medium size unless you want to share. Broth is very much on the clear side, but the oil they have on the side to add is one of the best i tasted, enjoy some. If you have leftover the next day it will taste better, just like potato salad. I have to say, I hate when on the menu picture there is something that is extra, like the egg in the soup, that you see in the menu, with a price, is extra. Like seeing a picture of a 3$ cheese burger, but only the server tells you the bread is another 3$!
Every time we come to Ottawa we eat here. The broth and noodles are spectacular! Good service and friendly staff. If you want a good bowl of soup and noodles this is the place.Food: 5/5
The texture of the noodles here is just perfect. I chose the San Xi 3 small size of noodles. To be honest I never had noodle from this region of china but I am very impressed. The broth is so fresh and yummy. The beef slices taste great too. Altogether I give it a 4.5/5, which rounds up to 5/5.Food: 5/5
A friend of mine recommended me this place, but I wasn't expecting such a good experience. The food was great and the staff provided us with the best service we ever had in Canada. I really recommend it. Reasonable price and a big portions.Food: 5/5
An excellent choice for handmade noodles in Ottawa. We were attracted by the cook pulling the dough and almost magically making to appear strings and strings of noodles right in front of our eyes. The flavor and combinations of the family size portions were simply delicious.Food: 5/5
