The shared loos and massive queues for breakfast were more tolerable before they hiked the prices up, but it’s still pretty good value for the location. There’s something nice about waking up right in central London. Rooms always clean. Breakfast is excellent, once you reach it.Rooms: 3/5
I had booked the LSE Carr-Saunders hall for summer school session 2 after looking at all the marketing done by lse on their website and instagram about their accommodation. But to my surprise there was A DEAD ANT in my breakfast one morning. They do not allow booking without breakfast for summer school, so i was basically forced to get breakfast and it was UNHYGIENIC. My suggestion would be to avoid LSE halls and go for Chapters accommodation instead. LSE halls are OVERPRICED with ZERO HYGENE.
Fantastic stay here this weekend. Clean, warm and friendly staff. Nice lounge to sit in in the evening. Breakfast was brilliant, really sets you up for the day. Only gripe being that there were no cups or cutlery in the kitchens.

This is a nice little spot in London. They have an amazing breakfast and nice staff. They only thing I didn’t like is the fact that guys and girls share the toilets and showers. The website says shared facilities but they fail to mention it is with both sexes. This can bother some women and I feel like it should be posted. Women with a traumatizing past or Muslim women, this can be a huge problem. I am not either of these and I had a problem with it. I feel it is highly inappropriate to not mention this at all on any site. Other than that it was a very nice stay.
This is the famous university London Economics School student accommodation. The location is great and in walking distance to city center 20 minutes walk. Breakfast is great. The price is very reasonable. Just a few downsides: the room is not big and no table; shared bathroom and toilet are not convincing; the kitchen is not big and not well equipped. But overall it is worthy the money.
Located very close to the BT tower. Excellent full spread breakfast included full English and pastries, yoghurt, fruit, juice, coffee, toast, cereal. Towels provided in rooms. Kitchen is useful to prepare own food. All areas require key card access. They have a lockable secure sheltered bike shed to secure my bicycle. Walking distance from loads of shops and Euston train station. Rooms: Clean and tidy with everything you need. Safety: Key card access required everywhere. Walkability: Walking distance from Lidl, McDonalds, M&S food and Euston Train Station. Noteworthy details: Staff are friendly and there’s a communal area downstairs. Stairs to get inside the building so not wheelchair accessible.
We absolutely loved our stay here! Location was perfect. It's very close to the tourist locations in London and there are restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes nearby. We booked a private room for 2, and it was very clean, spacious and smelled good. We stayed in another hostel the day before and LSE was waaaaayyy better! There were also a variety of food options to choose from for breakfast. Laundry machines are available, but a little troublesome to use if you're using international credit cards. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again in the future!
At this price, you could settle for a 2 star hotel or even a 3 star. At this hostel, you get no tissue, no hairdryer, a choked sink with shared toilet. I can look past that for a night, but they were extremely dishonest to state "luggage storage" when they actually did not allow me to store, claiming that "students were checking in today". Well then do not claim you offer luggage storage! To make it worst, the reception lady was unhelpful and condescending, which is an appalling attitude to have, facing tourist or students. Save yourself the trouble, stay elsewhere and do not let this unethical and dishonest accomodation spoil your holiday.
Simple room no TV good WiFi self use kitchen nearby all very clean with an excellent shower, ideal for me Rooms: Bed is comfy room a nice size and nicely warm
