Rang up this morning to ask if there was outside seating. They confirmed there was and yet when I got there at 5pm there was no sitting outside and they wouldn't let me inside because I hadn't pre booked a table. After having been told outside seating was available I fully expected it to be available
I had a very enjoyable Sunday roast here - the servings were generous, and the food has great flavor. Roast potatoes were really excellent, I'd recommend getting an extra serving on the side. Ambience was good, and the service was friendly. There was a 45 min wait for food, but it was busy at the time. A good spot to watch the sports.
Needs a revamp. Looked tired & lacked atmosphere. Might be handy for students but cant see how it would entice locals.
Decent Greene King pub. Sky sports and good beer. Order from at to table and service is very quick.

Welcoming interior with great actives like the quiz nights on Thursdays and Sundays, would recommend. However, slightly more expensive than other pubs in the area.

A nice friendly pub. Good choice of ales and cocktails. Food is also served but we were eating elsewhere so can't comment. However plenty of customers were tucking in so it would seem to be fine. They have a nice open fire and as a couple dogs were in, I assume it is dog friendly. Recommended.
Great service and very friendly. I will be back.
