Popped in for quick pint. Saturday afternoon last week. Not many in at the time but still a good atmosphere. Good pint reasonable prices. Bar staff attentive. Its got the look of a bar that hasn't been mucked about with over the year's. Good seating areas. Very cosy. Good olde world bar. The way a bar should lookService: 5/5
On the off chance when passing me and my family went into The Victory pub for some lunch. The food was fleshly cooked and really tasty - It did take slightly longer to come out because it was being freshly made which we didn't mind, was worth the wait! The staff were really child friendly and couldn't do enough when waiting on us. You can also take your dog in. We will definitely be returning, Quality little find.

Unfortunately I didn't get photographs of the food but can confirm that it was of excellent quality and enjoyed by all. A small, traditional English pub with great staff, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Loved all the dishes that we chose and went back another couple of times while staying in the area. Def recommend the Chicken & Halloumi skewers and also the fresh homemade chips.
Very cosy, excellent food, good beers, perfect environment for a typical english pub.. amazing sunday dinner .. and it's not expensive for the quality.. there are always nice people inside, good igiene! I would absolutely recommend it
We had a Sunday dinner pork didn’t enjoy it one bit they bring one bowl of salad between two people the staff was lovely and helpful but wouldn’t come back for Sunday dinner to this place againFood: 1/5
Location is very close to Freeman Hospital Newcastle. Lovely friendly pub. Freshly cooked to order food. Car park is not massive.
I visit the Victory occasionally when visiting a friend in South Gosforth. It's a lovely pub, by far the best around there and the menu is always different from your normal pub food. The girls who run the place are lovely. However, we visited recently to be met be a rude, unhelpful, smartarse, bolshi, barman who made us feel very uncomfortable when ordering. The menu had obviously changed from our previous visit and the response to every question was to return the menu. Eventually the question came asking if we could read. I somehow don't think that kind of behaviour would have happened had our husbands been with us. There was only a handful of people in and we wondered if the two were connected? Parking: About 20 spaces near the entrance
