My family and I have been patients with this Surgery for many years - since they were in the Boulevard and then Longton Grove Road. I have always been happy with the service and expertise of the Doctors, and practice nurses. Thank-you Dr. Haggerty, Dr.Wrigglesworth, Dr.Potts and team for looking after all of us during these challenging times.

I've been with this doctors for nearly 2 years and have always had a really good service from them. Never had trouble getting through on the phone and it's the same for the askmygp app. Great that they also have so many other facilities on site too such as physio

My wife and I have been with the practice for very many years and have seen very many changes, but the constant has always been the personal feel and professional services provided from this surgery.  We can be awkward patients, having placed many demands on Dr. Haggerty and his team, sometimes showing frustration and less courteousness than perhaps ideal. However we have always received friendly, helpful and effective treatment from every part of the practice.  I could cite many examples of the help we have received over the period of the families association with Longton Grove, but very briefly by way of a flavour:  Dr Haggerty swiftly arranged and chased up my own treatment for cancer  and thanks mainly to his effective early diagnosis I have been clear for 4 years now.  My wife has suffered with many long term ailments but the doctors and nurses have always shown patience, understanding and support to her enabling her conditions to be effectively managed.  The team were marvellous treating my mother in law during her final months and showing care and concern when she was failing.  Most recently The doctor put me on a healthy lifestyle programme with the Sister which already is showing remarkable results.  Finally the receptionists are often under pressure, but always welcoming, friendly, courteous and helpful.  Hopefully these few glimpses and observations will offer assurances to other prospective patients, but also serve as a small thank you to the professionals within the practice.

I have a leg injury. And unable to drive. So I wanted to use this surgery as it was the most convenient to walk too with the pharmacy right next door, so this means a lot less walking for me. But found their practice manager very unhelpful. And so I am not allowed to join their surgery, as it's just outside of their catchment area. No special circumstances taken into consideration. So this alone, I think sums them up. Very Uncaring!

Normally very helpful but some doctors are rude and always running late. I tried making an appointment today but the phone wasn't ringing and just hung up on me this happens quite often. I tried calling from 8:00am till 11:30am and only just got through but now I have to wait! The reseptionist was very rude and didn't even try to understand my point of view! Very disappointed.

Called twice to enquire about registration.  The receptionist cancelled my call twice.  Think I'll go elsewhere as not getting a good impression

I never had any problems there. Staff is always very helpful. When I had a hernia operation Dr. K M Haggerty offered me a list of the hospitals where I could be operated.

Ask my gp is very good they responded very quickly but when you get your appointment is different story. Waiting time is a joke 2 days ago my son he is 5...... 50 minutes nothing after visit not even sorry. Joke!!!!

Very good surgery, helpful receptionists and have used AskmyGp several times and always had a quick response and health problems dealt with thoroughly.
