Perfect place and rooms are modern with lovely ambience. Food was great. Stay was pleasant and was able to see so many types of birds. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for stay around Whiteley. Keep up the good work guys!
Room and location are good. There were some annoying issues, which negatively impacted our stay. Repeatedly having to request a second towel, because they only left one every day, despite the fact they knew a couple was staying in the room and removed two towels every time. Failure to service the room at all over the weekend. Keycard needing to be reactivated on 3 occasions in order to access our room.
Stayed at the Lodge at Solent for two nights. I am a regular customer and travel every 6 weeks and usually stay at the Solent Hotel. This time I wanted to try the Lodge at Solent.nThe room was not bad, but there was no place to get some water. The toilet flusher was broken, needed to press 3/4 times before it was fluing every time. Generally the stay was fine, until I got the breakfast in the morning. There was a hair in my plate. Once I told this to the waitress, only thing she said it's a sorry, nothing about bringing me another plate with cleaner food. This is disgusting and after the waitress was made aware of the issue, I was exprecting more from her. It was not even a busy time. Didn't have breakfast the second day. I am never coming back here to have breakfast.
Really nice rooms here!nThere were a few suspicious stains in the room on the carpet and big ugly stains on the corridor carpets which don’t look good but other than that rooms were clean, nice and modern
Loved our stay. The room was comfy, clean and warm and the shower had amazing pressure. Towels were big and soft. We ate in the adjoining restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both times the food and service was very good. We will definitely return.
