Story

A farm house built in 1776, originally a thimble makers turned into restaurant Locanta which stands strong in Birmingham’s unique St. Paul’s Square.

Opened in June 2004 offering Mediterranean specialities, fresh fish, home cooked pasta and juicy grilled meats. Catering for birthdays, business cooperate lunches and light bites also available for private functions.

Locanta keeping the traditional values on the plate seven days a week from midday till midnight.

We have two floors of dining here at Locanta. Feel free to sit whevever suits you: the cosy, intimate downstairs or see the view over St.Pauls Square upstairs.

Had a fantastic experience in this spot with my son. The food was served fast and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are reasonable.
Great food and friendly service. The owner Eric is so lovely and is always able to suggest a special dish if you want to try something different.

Food was really good very pleased we tried these guys for our dinner.
Terrible service. Took much longer to serve us then other customers. Ordered a dish and they gave me something different. They offered to give me a free drink. I ordered a different dish.... I don't want a free drink... I want what I ordered. Do not reccomend. P.S food was poor quality.

Awful advertising. If you’re not open for lunch don’t advertise false bookings online. Ridiculous reasoning given by the owner’s son also and won’t be giving them any custom or recommending them to anyone moving forward.
