Fantastic location for a hen do. Lots of beds, great communal space, easy kitchen to cook for lots of people. The outdoor space is lovely and as long as you have a car it's not terrible to get to. There's a car park just before the house. Only things I'd point out: bed rooms need a face lift, they're all bunk beds so very basic. The bathrooms were also in need of a revamp, some of the showers failed to get hot water, weren't powerful and were weirdly situated in the centre of the room. When you turned the shower on everything got wet. There's also a couple of taps that seem to run for ages. No bathmats are provided, and there's no hand wash or toilet paper. There was WiFi and service but you had to be closer to one side of the house to get it. It was a fantastic weekend. We went walking, outdoor climbing, horse trekking, and it was an ideal place to stay to be able to do those things. We were a group of around 23 and it suited us perfectly. Really responsive owners too. Lovely.

WOW!! What a place Just spent the weekend here on a team development weekend. Beautiful views and stunning location. Very spacey and comfortable. Was 5 of us in one and we coped very well. Any problems were sorted out straight away Thank you Kate and family
Beds are a bit rickety, the plumbing is full of surprises and the bathroom light is on epilepsy mode, but the bedding was clean, as was the hostel itself and despite being -2° outside the place was lovely and warm.Rooms: 3/5
Lovely location! House has excellent catering and dining facilities and there was plenty of space for everyone. Bathrooms were a bit tired, though
Wow supper great place to stay a night or two, drive to the location was easy, owner gave good directions and using google maps helped, could not get apple maps to work for me on that day. Accommodation was great beds were warm and comfy with a great sitting area, big kitchen, clean, was quiet when i was there in February,. Nice car park with great views of the valley and surrounding hills.

Amazing place to bring friends for a weekend in the Brecon Beacons the best rooms are up the stairs behind the glass the mums hid away up there the other upstairs was where the big group of girls went. The boys where scattered around the back and the dads found a few spare rooms here and there. The fire was good we had those huge marshmallows and partially cooked them the fire consumed about three. The glasses that are supplied are nice and there’s plenty of them. The sinks are a bit low gave the person washing up a aching back from hunching over to reach the cutlery. Two rogue dogs assuming they belonged to the owner who lives next door interrupted our breakfast and came looking for breakfast from the smell of sausages. The sofas you sink right in but understandable with the amount of people that sit on them. All in all an amazing place to go for a lovely weekend away.
My mates and I have spent the August Bank holiday weekend here for the passed two years celebrating two of the boys birthdays. It usually involves alot of beer food and chilling out. There's plenty of space at the bunk house, ample sized rooms and comfortable beds. The dining area is extensive and has more than enough room to seat twenty five fully grown men, it's been tested. There's enough kitchen wear and cutlery for everyone, the place is fully stocked up and is a great get away. Youl probably have an hard time getting Internet connection but beside that the Wern Watkins bunkhouse is at a great location.
What a great place to stay. Fabulous building with wonderful views and countryside. Very clean and tidy. Well layer out and the play is very well equipped. Definitely recommend this bunkhouse, it realy is excellent value for money.
