Story

Multi-award winning Plassey is set in 247 acres of magnificent park and woodland in the beautiful Dee Valley, near to the picturesque the villages of Overton and Bangor-On-Dee. Privately owned and managed for over 50 years, the Brookshaw family have developed the former dairy farm's land and buildings into the Holiday Park, Retail Village & Golf Course.

Its premier amenities include a Touring Caravan Park which has its own indoor heated swimming pool, children's adventure playground, state-of-the-art Amenity building, and a number of deluxe pitches equipped with full services. We accept Touring Caravans, Motorhomes & Tents.

Plassey also houses a thriving Retail Village, with some twenty-five businesses ranging from boutiques, hand-made crafts, a hair & beauty studio, to a traditional blacksmith and computer suppliers. The former stable block is now home to a Coffee Shop and a family friendly Licensed Restaurant serves delicious meals to both residents and day visitors. We even have a Welsh independent MIcro Brewery, The Plassey Brewery.

Visitors to The Retail Village are also most welcome to bring the family for a gentle stroll along the 2 miles of Nature trail Walks or have a play on the new Welsh Castle childrens adventure playground.

For all the keen golfers, we have a splendid 9-hole Golf Course (4,961 yard, Par 66) which is set in beautiful undulating parkland of The Plassey. Affiliated to both the Denbighshire and Welsh Golfing Unions, it offers a challenging set of holes for all to enjoy with a comfortable golf clubhouse to relax in after your game.
