The perfect place for all your niche literature needs. Small, independent publishers, zines, authors from all over the world. Fantastic for queer literature - including books with unrelated plots that feature good queer characters. Lots of radical political texts, which special attention payed to a diverse authorship. Reasonably spacious (you can walk without knocking books down everywhere) with many cozy corners. The staff is lovely and enthusiastic about what they sell, knowledgeable and well-read, and go above and beyond by making fresh French press coffee for their customers!! You may even see the resident dog Bonnie. The events are relevant and interesting. I love everything about Lighthouse 😊

Good source of books if your politics are not exactly mainstream. Cheery staff even offer you a tea.
