A very good collection of books there is a cafe inside and lounging areas to read very quiet and good atmosphere for us bibliophiles. Polite and informative staff.
Its on renovation so the ground floor a lil bit messy, but the first floor is so huge and lovely. The book selection is great, they have some sofa and chair in the middle too!
A very huge shop with lots of books and sections. The shop is very organized and you can find lots of books from various genres. There is even a dedicated section for Scottish books. I was very surprised by the Economics section which had lots of good books. They also provide a small discount based on the cost displayed on their websitevery weird to be honest. The customer service was also great. Do visit the shop if you are interested in reading books. You can also get painting and drawing accessories from this bookshop.
Great selection of all kinds of books, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend
Huge selection, found everything reasonably recent or popular in stock. Classic literature section quite well hidden though! Left at the top of the stairs
Such an amazing bookshop, great selection of books as well as board games. Staff was helpful and friendly and welcoming to the kids
Edinburgh's oldest bookshop; fantastic range of texts over 3 floors, plus a lovely reading café.
Blackwell's Bookshop in Edinburgh is a great place to find books for everyone. It has a big section for kids and lots of board games to play. The bookstore is warm and inviting, and you can lose yourself in a world of stories and adventures.
Great bookshop with friendly staff, they have a massive array of books of all kinds. As well as a fullly stocked board games section with dozens of choices.
Has a more esoteric selection than the Waterstones, as well as more board games and Sci fi/Fantasy
