A nice little gym with mostly friendly staff although the equipment is very dated and the opening hours limited. Saunas are in the respective changing rooms and only good for 3 people max. Just had a look at rejoining and if you want a month rolling membership it's double the annual up front cost. A real shame in these very unsure time's.
This is regarding just the gym. Its a reasonable gym, the main reason I go there is because its very close. I mix up things by going to that gym and also I have a garage setup with loose benches, squat rack and Olympic weights and a leverage system. This gym lacks a separate loose weight bench and squat rack, so you end up using the Smith machines, or you can do dumbells since they do have loose dumbell benches. They do have some good machines, some hammer strength, also some of there own type which are ok. They have many treadmills, cross trainers and bikes and a stepper and climber. Personally I think there are to many treadmills and cross trainers, they should get rid of them and put in more weight machines and benches, there is also some wasted space where they could add something else. If you live local it's worth going, only £20 per month for the gym. If you want to do loose bench press and squating and don't have a home gym it maybe better going elsewhere like JD for example. I've recommended what they could do to improve things since many people have left to go to better gyms but they take no notice. The weights section gets packed at times and you end up having to wait along time for a bench or machine since they don't have many. The weights section is by far the most used yet the treadmills, crosstrainers etc take up at least half of the area and there are always plenty spare. If I managed the place there would be a big change to the layout, which would attract more people and stop people leaving for other gyms
It's a decent gym plenty cardio could so with a few more gym machines for weight training
Nice gym full of great equipment there's a wife range it's just a little to expensive.
Gym itself is fine, but the direct debit collection company Harlands are an absolute joke you can not cancel your locked into a rolling contract and can only cancel under certain circumstances such as medical grounds etc, avoid because of Harlands group
A great choice of cardio equipment all recently renewed and plenty of options for weight training. Good atmosphere with friendly staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else
