Absolutely disgusting attitude by staff in here today, why bother selling fireworks if no members of staff can be bothered to serve you or remotely be bothered to serve you, my daughter was excited about getting fireworks for her birthday, waited at the till as the sign asks you too, said to check out guy, I want to buy fireworks, he just kept serving other people so asked again, even the womannbehind me said” don’t think he likes you” he only had to use his radio to call for someone, I then waited 20 minutes. I was a frequent shopper here but never again, not that that will matter to a big company.
It is a good place to buy groceries. You can find something's in middle shelves which are great but some of them opened and has a distorted package even in the first hours when shop open in day.
My local Lidl store of Maidenhead. They are known for quality beit fruits, fresh vegetables, meat or packed food items. Bakery section is my favourite as they always serve freshly baked items. Staff is friendly. The only concerns is they don't have a self checkout counter. At times parking could be challenging, mostly during peak hours over the weekends.
On a Sunday not long before Christmas, there are only three checkouts open. This store does not offer a self-service checkout facility.nThe queues for each till stretch over half way down the store.nThis also makes it difficult for other customers to get items from the aisles, having to navigate queues of people waiting to pay.nIt's a shame, as I used to really like this store but with a cost of living crisis it seems to be getting busier and as a result items are often out of stock and the queues are always long.
Nice tidy store, well stocked, quite busy. Not the stores fault but some people really ought to realise parking spaces are for parking rather than just making your own parking spaces and blocking everyone from getting round.
