"Everyone knows we're Lidl on price. So, it's time to tell you what we're Big on. We're Big on Quality. Big on the big shop. Big on all the things that matter. Big on the things that make cupboards and bellies and life feel fuller. Big on detergent that gets your socks white and cheese that knocks them off. Big on carrots that crunch and chillies with bite. Big on cuisine from far and wide, and meat from local farmers. Big on brands and biscuits and baby stuff and bicycle pumps and butter. We're Big on everything. Except of course, on price, because that's where we'll always be Lidl."

On a Sunday not long before Christmas, there are only three checkouts open. This store does not offer a self-service checkout facility. The queues for each till stretch over half way down the store. This also makes it difficult for other customers to get items from the aisles, having to navigate queues of people waiting to pay. It's a shame, as I used to really like this store but with a cost of living crisis it seems to be getting busier and as a result items are often out of stock and the queues are always long.
No matter what day or time you go, shelves are often empty. Very frustrating. Staff is nice though. What’s going on with stock?
Just met the loveliest cashier ever - Veruczila??!!! Honestly one of the most warming, kindest interactions I’ve had while paying for my food shop - to the point I’ve left a review for her!! What a treasure!
Very nice variety there. Seasonal Stuff is great. Bakery's stuff is tasty as well. Professional staff at tills. Nice parking area. Cleanliness can be improved. Reducing a star terribly long wait at till even you buy one item.
A smaller shop than usual, low stocks in the weekend with long queues during busy hours. Not the best Lidl but you don't come here for the shopping experience.
Hello Lovely brings joy to our ears when hear the sounds from one particular cashier at Lidls, otherwise a great place to shop. Better than Aldi Windsor which was disappointing.
Great quality products at a low price. For me quality higher than Aldi and woth being slightly more expensive, stoll much cheaper than mainstream supermarkets.
They have really cheap prices and good produce but next to no staff on the checkout, very frustrating. Self checkout would really work for this store.
Some great food and deals. Till system here is always slow and the queues are long. Some self service and more till staff would be good. If the manager put his phone down and stopped chatting on WhatsApp it might improve things too...
The worst customer 'service' ever! Don't know why some people apply for jobs they really don't want to do. If you're in customer service, you need to serve people a smile wouldn't go amiss. Despite uploading my shopping on to the conveyor belt, I was promptly bellowed at that I needed to take my shopping off, put it back in my basket and go to a different till because the woman had 'other things to do'. There was no barrier up to say the check-out had closed and no divider on the conveyor belt saying 'closing' or 'last customer'. By the time I'd put all my shopping back in the basket there were queues at other tills, leading right back in to the aisles! Never known a ruder woman in my time shopping. Surely serving customers when they've got basket/trolleys with frozen food and poultry should be a priority! There must be better times to go and do 'other things' when it is quieter in the shop? Why should a customer have to plead to pay for food? Does the shop not want customers? Thankfully a manager stood in when his worker refused to serve and opened a check-out to serve himself!
