Maidenhead despite its many failings is blessed with many little shops and eating places. Mamaloo's is one of them. Fazila is a fantastic proprietor. She always has the most the amazing smile and the biltong is the best I have ever eaten.
What a welcome!!!! So good to have a warm south african greeting. Great biltong, with the usual SAFFA shop goodies. But what a joy to be offered a mug of Ricoffy and an Ouma rusk, and sit in the lounge and hang out with other Zimbabweans and South Africans. I wish you every success and look forward to your Saturday afternoon singing sessions leading up to Christmas.
Home from home! Mamaloo’s is a bit of African warmth and friendliness in the heart of Maidenhead. Sometimes an art gallery; sometimes a live music venue and of course the biltong and other Southern African delights are great too!
I only discovered Mamaloos recently, what a find. Not only can you find a wide range of products from SA my favourites being Castle, Hansa, Dry Wors & Ouma Rusks but the service is also great. I was pining for Hansa recently and although it took awhile to get here, she kept me in the loop throughout its journey. I've visited many shops selling stuff from Southern Africa but this is probably the best. Keep up the good work. See you soon. Pete

Wow Mamaloo's is such a great place so good to shop everything we had back home it's home from home . feels like you back in Africa with all the products service was so good will definitely be shopping there
Wish they had more products - but definitely trypical South African. Could be nice if they did a little coffee shop on the side

What a life saver, been buying our biltong, droewors and boerewors from here for at least the past 15 or 16 years. I have tried others but the biltong, droewors and boerewors are the best I've found. Loads of other products available too but when you braai a lot, boerewors is so important to have. Highly recommend and if you order online like I do, your order always arrives well packed in ice packs.
