Lidle is awesome, plain and simple. Nothing beats the sheer joy of browsing the eclectic mix of products down towards the back of the store. There is always something you come across which simply must be bought. Only four stars because the parking is so limited at this particular store.

Sent along by my husband to buy brake pads. The trade counter is like a small Halfords, all the sundry stuff you could need. Well laid out and bright/clean. Brake pads were sold at trade, so really good price. The guy who served me was really helpful - would definitely use again and recommend.

I have never had to stand so long in a queue to be served by someone so rude. Don't mind waiting when things are busy however 4 tills on all busy, all serving faster than the one i am on because Simon is too busy having a catch up with his mate. No objection to general chit chat by cashiers but this was more.like they should have gone to the pub for their chat. Then when finally get to serve us doesnt even say good morning or anything. Very disappointing ☹

After pointing out to the employee (not a shelf-stacking person) that their frozen food had been unattended (it looked as the guys forgot about it talking in another isle), the person just rudely ignored me. Wonder how often their food gets re-frozen with such attitude. Also the new revamp isn't attractive. It used to be much cosier.

Conveniently placed store, close to Eastleigh city centre, train station with easily accessible transport links. All the essentials are available here. Tricky parking system though. You need to scan your receipt and enter your car's registration number in order NOT to get a fine. Not ideal.
