Went to garden centre to do some shopping and have lunch as normally the fish and chips is excellent. Today had to queue 20 minutes to be served. Ordered our fish and chips.we were told there was a 10 minute wait. Half an hour later it arrived. We were so disappointed as the fish was overcooked,dry and hard. Normally the batter is crisp and the fish has lovely large flakes of white fish. The chips were cold and dry. When we complained we were just offered another cup of tea. It would have been better to go to the local chippy

Dismall, Stopped today for light lunch and drinks, out of lunches/sweets. Settled for expensive piece of cake and ginger biscuits. Staff look overworked and totally fedup. Tables were piled high with dirty dishes etc. Long queues, people waiting ages for food. First visit in a long time, will be last I think. Disabled parking only 3 places with difficult access, entrance hall wet. Dismal service and garden centre!

Good range of products but pricey, staff friendly and restaurant good.

Don’t go to the restaurant if you are hungry. ‘Bit of a wait’ turned out to be 45 minutes. Observed kitchen staff taken breaks and eating lunch whilst we sat and waited. Not ideal with a 2yo.

Very small soft play but up to 20 kids allowed at a time! The age range is from 1-8, so it was unsafe for my 1 year old to use it as lots of boisterous older kids in there unsupervised, it does state kids need to be supervised but they were clearly not. Baby changing room was really smelly too. Food was ok and shop not bad either. My complaint is just the tiny busy kids area. There are much better places to take children to play.
