Had a roast today at The Swan Inn for my boyfriends birthday.nIt was the best roast we had ever had.nI had a veggie option and it was goats cheese. Highly recommend this dish.nThe staff were very friendly, welcoming and fabulous. They work very hard. We booked again for next Sunday and can’t wait to try another roast option off the menu.nSticky toffee pudding was exceptional! One of the best desserts we have had!nParking available.nDog friendly which is great!nOverall brilliant place!nThanks for an amazing experience.
Couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome at this pub. Went with a few friends after a long walk it was it was perfect. Really nice atmosphere, great service and brilliant Sunday roast. And all on a day when they were short staffed. Will definitely return next time I’m in Lewes.
Just in the area for a couple of days and had an amazing experience at this pub! The staff were all incredibly friendly, but a special mention goes to the lovely, smiley lady with curly hair. She had such a warm, welcoming energy and reminded us a bit of Davina McCall. What a great salesperson she was though as we originally came in for a spot of dinner on Saturday, but thanks to her recommendation, we came back the next day for Sunday roast—and we’re so glad we did! It absolutely did not disappoint. The roast was scrumptious, perfectly cooked, and just what we needed. Highly recommend this pub, and we’ll definitely return!
Celebrated my 65th birthday with family and friends last night. We had the saloon bar and they laid on a buffet for 25+ people. The team at The Swan were FANTASTIC, couldn't be more helpful to make it a special night, we had a blast and the food was delicious. Thank you!
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Proper pub grub at its best
