I used to pass by here on the way to college way back in 2009-11. So, being informed there’s a cinema now I was imaging some tiny 1 screen establishment.nnYet to my amazement The Depot Cinema and Restaurant is quite the modern spacious marvel! Stopping by for food before sitting comfortably to watch Conclave may be one of my favourite movie going experiences so far. The food was great and service very attentive.nnSeating in the cinema was cozy and felt like I was back home on my couch. I think The Depot is my favourite cinema now, the easy station parking for £2/day is also an absolute steal. Also, if driving is a chore you also have the train station a stone throw away. It’s hard not to recommend this one!
The food is a bit on the higher side but the quality and quantity easily makes up for it. Staff are friendly too. Lots of space for sitting before a film. Seats in the actual screens are really comfy and getting a few trailers and local adverts then right into the film is great! Love it
We enjoy the Depot every time we visit.nnA relaxing and comfortable cinema experience. The food and drinks from the restaurant are amazing too.nnThe staff are friendly and very helpful.
Visited on a Thursday lunch time - it was packed! People were queuing for a table. It is a really lovely space. There are sofas or tables & chairs to choose from. Had a fish finger sandwich which was very tasty and not over cooked either! Fairly priced. The staff were friendly too. Although I did feel a little hurried to pay the bill. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Absolutely amazing brilliant prices so comfortable though parking isn't great the atmosphere and prices make up for that x
