Story

Glentress Forest Lodges are situated adjacent to the world famous Glentress Forest 7stanes mountain bike trails, the number one mountain biking centre in the UK, with some of the world's best downhill only 4 miles away at Innerleithen.

Our timber frame Wigwam lodges are arranged in small clusters with vehicle access to each area. Available to rent on per night basis our Wigwams can sleep 3 people in comfort and up to 5 people if required. We also provide excellent shower / toilet facilities as well as a communal kitchen.

A unique feature is our purpose built storage and cleaning facilities for the use of our guests, where bikes and equipment can be cleaned and stored securely. Other services include laundry and linen hire along with the supply of BBQ fuel and camp fire logs.

Glentress Forest Lodges are surrounded by beautiful borders countryside with views right across the Tweed valley. The River Tweed is only a short walk away where you can fish for trout and salmon.

Peebles is only 2 miles away for all your shopping and entertainment requirements. Scotland's vibrant capital city of Edinburgh is only 25 miles away

Great site, just stayed over a very wet and muddy week, the toilets and showers were always really clean, that must have been a huge effort given the number of muddy bikers using them! Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, biking out the door onto the trails.
Camping has great facilities especially the Drying room which was very helpful! Good shower and nice location. Brilliant for the Mountain Biking at Glentress! Good Value - Thank you for making the start of 2024 !Location: 5/5
Stayed here many times over the last 3-4 years. I've seen a huge effort to invest back into the site and it improves every time. Great place which I highly recommend. However don't all go because I need a space left for me! Service: 5/5
Very good site Has very thing you need Good clean toilet / shower room Drying room The hardstands is a good size with a patch of grass. Nearby activities: Gleentress MTB trails new & old are really good & are good for everyone from beginners to experienced riders. Family trails as well. Go ape is right next door. Walkability: There are some walks as well

Excellent location for mountain biking. Lodge we had was clean and comfortable. No drinking water tap near our lodge so filled up our water container in the kitchen which just fitted in the sink. Recommend a tap at the lodges and washing machines for those dirty mountain biking clothes!Rooms: 5/5
MTB Outlaws and regularly visit Pebbles, Glentress and Innerleithen to access the local mountain biking trails and Glentress Forest Lodges is the best site in the UK we've found for immediate access to the trails... Once you're pitched up / checked in, you don't need to leave! The site manager, Blair, is welcoming and very accommodating. The on-site facilities are superb... Kitchen, social area, drying room, secure lock-up and hot powerful showers! We'll be back, see you next time! Nearby activities: Mountain biking, hiking, running, trail running, camping, walking. Pitched here for 3 nights in late May with 2 dogs and a 4-person tent. Fantastic campsite & set in Glentress Forest. Majority staying are in the pods or camper-vans and there for the mountain bike trials - busy site but not that it felt crowded. Tent pitch was tight for our tent but didn’t stop us, water and electrical hook-up available at the pitch. The shower blocks are very clean with strong hot water.

Amazing place to camp in glentress, has the options of camping or staying in the lodges. The lodges are incredibly warm, clean and comfortable to sleep in with plenty of space for four people. The services are great with great showers and clean toilets as well as a lounge and kitchen area. Very biker friendly and is at the bottom of glentress forest biking. Amazing views and beautiful place to stay. Would definitely recommend Nearby activities: Biking within a 2 minute ride, cafe, visits Peebles, great walking etc Safety: Place to lock your bikes, lodges are also very secure
