Story

Leigh Sports Village stadium is a 12,000 capacity venue, home to Leigh Centurions, Manchester United U23s and U19s. We also offer modern conference and events facilities as well as being Leigh's signature wedding venue.
The Sports Village is also home to WLCT Leigh, Leigh Harriers, Holiday Inn Express Leigh, Wigan and Leigh College, Morrisons, The Whistling Wren as well as a number of local businesses.
The Sports Pavilion also provides state-of-the-art 3G pitches for hire.

Only went because of a school event at half time that my son was involved in. I have to say the gate/ground staff were fantastic and very helpful and as it happened it was a good game to watch! 
The stadium was only half full so probably a different environment when busier but a good family atmosphere. Would definitely go back for that alone although not sure what the pricing is like normally.
My only issue (and I've never encountered this anywhere else!) is why can't I keep the top (lid) to my plastic soft drink bottle in the stadium... but yet I can take my full bottle and a bucket load of sealed hotdogs into the ground??? Don't get it, and the staff couldn't explain it either... ridiculous idea in the absence of reason?

What an excellent place.

The staff are the most helpful team I have encountered in this type of facility.

We used the pool and the seminar room to run our weekend course, and all worked well. 

Spotlessly clean.

Nearby is a Morrisons to get your sandwiches, and across the carpark is a hotel and a pub restaurant.

Very good good facilities for all ages. Got good function rooms. All in all got a lot going for it.

Excellent facility and great value for money. Staff are really friendly and helpful. We use the gym and classes and kids have had swimming lessons there too. All the equipment is brand new and on par with private gyms.

It's just a leisure centre like all the rest really only came here for a competition has a cafe swimming pool and all the usual sports activity dept football basketball court gym etc nice building
