Fabulous little camp site ... great mix of wood land pitches and field pitches. About half the pitches have enough trees for hammock camping. All the pitches have fire pits and most are really big. Toilets brilliant ... a washing up station is a great touch. Really a great place to pop out of London to escape. Can't recommend it enough

Easily accessible by train from London, but so peaceful and green. The pitches are spacious, the waterless loos are clean, and there is a place to wash dishes. The firepit makes it easy to build a big but safe fire. The warden is very kind and enthusiastic about the site. This is a wonderful place!

Absolutely brilliant! 5 of us went from work as part of a company day out. It's beautifully laid out with the best compost toilets I've ever used. The fire pits are great and you can hire grills and buy chopped wood. You can even arrive by canoe! There's a landing stage. It's ran by lovely friendly rangers and I highly recommend the Bush Skills courses. Craig was incredible. He's way better than Bear Grylls and Ray Mears!

Forest pitches are secluded, peaceful and private. With a permanent fire pit, it allows you to be completely self sufficient and in one with nature.
