Excellent place for a walk and to practise photography and during the summer it will make a great picnic place. Only one complaint and that is the amount of dog mess uncleaned.

There is free 2K junior parkrun there every Sunday morning at 9:00. Lots of free parking, toilets and very nice cafe.
